Frequently Asked Questions
How does Outlet Pal work?
Outlet Pal uses a Leader and Follower system. The Leader plugs into a switched outlet you want to control from, and Followers plug into any outlets you want to control. When you turn on the switch connected to the Leader, all paired Followers will turn on too!
How do I set up my Outlet Pal devices?
Setup is simple:
- Plug in all your Outlet Pal devices
- Choose which device will be your Leader (must be plugged into a switched outlet)
- Triple-click the button on this device to change it from Follower to Leader
- Double-click each Follower to put it into pairing mode
- Double-click the Leader within 30 seconds to complete pairing
- Once paired, whenever the Leader turns on, the Follower will turn on as well
Can I pair multiple Outlet Pals together?
You sure can! Just double-click the button on your new Follower to put it in pairing mode (the light will start blinking), then double-click your Leader within 30 seconds. When successfully paired, the Follower's light will start pulsing and it will turn on when the Leader turns on.
Can I control multiple rooms with Outlet Pal?
You sure can. You can designate an Outlet Pal as a Leader for each room with a switched outlet. Each Leader operates independently with its own set of paired Followers. This is perfect for controlling different groups of outlets from different wall switches throughout your home. Just make sure each Leader is plugged into a switched outlet.
What is your return policy?
We offer a 30-day return policy on all Outlet Pal products. If you're not completely satisfied with your purchase, you can return it within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. Products must be in their original condition with all packaging included.
Do you offer a warranty?
All Outlet Pal products come with a 1-year limited warranty from the date of purchase. This warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal use. If your Outlet Pal device malfunctions due to a manufacturing defect during the warranty period, we will replace it free of charge.
The warranty does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, or unauthorized modifications. To make a warranty claim, please contact our customer service team with your proof of purchase.
